TV Dramas: Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is one of my favorite TV dramas. There are some hot girls and handsome guys in this drama, and they are doing great job. This drama is about love and friends relationship between some high school students. Some of them are really rich and some of them are not, they are trying to build their own relationship with the other students in the school, but there are always some troubles around them. I like "Gossip Girl" because it likes some reality things that happened in my life, I went to high school in the U.S, and I know something that show on TV may be the true stories. The plot of this drama is amazing, I recommend everyone to watch it!

No More War! Our group have the same topic about WAR! War brings a lot of pain and death for people, it made some people lost their family and money. We don't wanna war anymore, stop the war, stop killing and keep world peace.

I worked our glog project with Frank and Cathy. We went to State street and Millennium Park. We took some picture about Pop culture. We think our new president Obama and famous movie star are examples of "people"; Millennium Park of Chicago is one of examples about "place"; and Cloud Gate which is people called it "bean", it is a famous object of Pop culture. Also, "Why Chicago !" is a Video contest, it is a good example of event.

This glog project is an interesting experience for us. We interviewed with a guy who works for Burgar King, and he answered our some questions about Pop culture. Also I put the record of the interview on the glog. Check out our glog, don't forget leave a common!

Technology

I am dependent on technology very much. I use cell phone, computer, mp3 and watch television every day. All of them are absolutely necessary for my life. I think in our life today that cell phone and computer are life necessary things. We can't live without them. In my opinion, I hope that people can devices some new technology in the future, like cars that won't use gas anymore or we can use wireless to do more things. For example, we connect our friends and family with phone right now, but 3G cell phone is device today, it not only talk on the phone, you can use camera to see them.

Technology makes up our life, and it gives us more convenience and relatable. Technology is a part of Pop culture because when people device a new technology thing, it will become popular, and people would like to but and use it. For example, before Iphone sells in the store, people heard news and interesting about it, and when it sell sin the store, many people go to buy it, it becomes popular. Life is full of new technology.

Movie："WALL•E"

"WALL·E" is magical! Have you ever seen any interesting movie that can make you cry and smile before? ”Wall-E” means “Waste Allocation Load Lifters - Earth”. This is a very good movie. There were a lot of funny scenes will make you laugh, and also there were some touching scenes will make you think about something that you never realized.”Wall-E” was the best movie that I have seen this summer.

Wall-E is a cute and funny robot who helps us to clean our earth. He works hard every day. Eva is a white female robot who is from another plant. When the first time Wall-E met Eva, he gave lots of his collections to her, even the garbage. Wall-E was lonely in his own world before. There was nobody. He wants talk with someone, and he wants share his feeling with Eva. They fall in love, and they thought the true love is no matter how far they live or how different they are. Wall-E found Eva after she came back to the other plant, he always waiting for Eva. He can do everything for Eva, even lost his life. Finally, Wall-E found Eva, and they stay together forever. They created an uncomplicated, innocent, and simple relationship.

"WALL·E" is a colorful, beautiful, vibrant and imaginative movie. The soundtrack of this movie is very pleasant. You can enjoy the music while you watch this movie. There were a lot of special effects, you will see our futures in this movie, they are imaginative, and picture effects are amazing. The story and characters are brilliant, and there are many little things in the movie that have special meaning to us. Overall, I recommend everyone to see this movie. “Wall-E” is a good movie can teach us how to protect our earth and how to make relationship with people. Something you never think about before, you will find out the answer. So don’t be late, go ahead buy a ticket of “Wall-E”.

My Favorite Song "Bye Bye"

"Bye Bye" is my favorite song. The singer of "Bye Bye" is Mariah Carey. She is one of the best female R&B singers in the world. When I first time heard this song "Bye Bye", it made me feel warm and sweet. "Bye Bye" is a R&B genre song, it's for the people who just lost their relatives, friends or lover. The hardest thing is say byebye to them, but sometimes, you can't change the thing, you have to face it, and accept the fact. You must to continue the new life. This is the main theme of this song.

I hope that everyone can realize the meaning of this song "Bye Bye". Enjoy your time and try to understand song. From now on, you have to enjoy every moment with your family, your friend or your lover, we can't change the thing, but we can treasure our time to be with them. Nowadays, many people use texting message to communicate. They use simple letters or symbols to represent the words or whole sentences. Therefore, many people question the future of literacy. But some people say this new communication technology can bring us a new future of literacy. In my opinion, I think people should know both of real literacy and texting language.

I think people should know both of real literacy and texting language in many reasons. First of all, real literacy is the best way to write, people must use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation on the paper. When the readers read your story, you can bring the same ideas and feeling to them. Secondly, texting language is convenient, so we can save time in some situations. Many young people like to use texting language, and it is a new trend of literacy. Finally, both of real literacy and texting language are important to us. Both culture language and daily texting language can help us to communicate and understand other people. Overall, we shouldn't throw anyone away. Learning language has many different ways, we have to speak and understand with other people in different situations.
